This 1h30 to 2h00 practical workshop is designed for anyone looking to learn freehand sharpening on Japanese waterstones.
Whether you are a beginner or have prior experience, it provides essential foundations, guided by a qualified instructor, to help you develop your technique with confidence.

How to get your knives serviced?
Step 1: Drop Off Your Knives at my Sharpening-Studio
Basement entrance accessible through the parking lot OPPOSITE FROM 4345 Frontenac Street,
BEFORE the Petro-Canada gas station (intersection with Marie-Anne Street East).
The building address is 4309 rue D’Iberville.
Step 2: Sharpening, Repair and Maintenance Service
Sharpening turn-around times vary between on the spot same-day and 5 work days, depending on the volume of work I have.
More time may be required for repairs. We can discuss this when you drop off your knives.
Step 3: Pick Up your Knives - Sharp and Ready
- An invoice is sent by by email, which can be paid online or in person.
-You can also receive a pick-up notification via phone call or text message.
- Simply pick up your knives during business hours.
